MELBOURNE Storm back-rower Ryan Hoffman made a skeleton training crew even thinner when he limped off Visy Park after knee tendinitis flared.
Hoffman was one of just nine players from the 17 who played in Storm’s last-start win against Newcastle to train with the club after a five-day break. Most of the others are away on representative duties.
He started the session but did not complete it.
Hoffman’s injury will be monitored but it isn’t expected to keep him out of Monday night’s clash with Parramatta at Parramatta Stadium.

More than 1000 people aged 15 to 25 have converged on Sydney to learn political strategies for combating climate change, using lessons from US President Barack Obama’s election campaign.

THE King’s School at Parramatta is as expensive as it is exclusive, but soon some of the $23,500-a-year tuition fees could be spent teaching students how to be better around the house.
The elite GPS institution is considering a radical new curriculum for Year 10 students, under which they would learn how to cook, clean up, recycle waste and fix leaky taps.
