Six food bloggers in a restaurant can never be missed.
I often wonder what we must look like to the casual passerby, a table of diners intent on photographing each dish with such seriousness, their faces obscured by a camera lens.
Tonight I’m dining with fellow food bloggers Lex, Minh, Richard, Simon and Suze. It takes some time for six people to get the shot they’re finally happy with, but when the photos are done, it’s onto the food and plenty of conversation.

A MAN carrying an estimated $3,000 of heroin around Sydney’s Kings Cross in water bombs has been arrested by police after months of surveillance.
A five-month operation led to the arrest of the 37-year-old man yesterday.
Police say he was walking along Liverpool Street allegedly carrying 58 individual packs of the drug in coloured water balloons, with an estimated street value of $3,000.
Cash and mobile phones were also seized by police, while a Suzuki motorbike worth $12,000, said to be bought with the proceeds of crime, was taken by officers searching a …

Expected to go on exhibition early next year, the Heritage and Information Centre is turning to the public to help bring the Treasured exhibition to life.

The Dairy Cottage in Parramatta is one of Sydney’s earliest buildings. It was built around 1796 on land granted to George Salter, a convict, when his sentence expired. In 1813, Governor Macquarie purchased Salter’s grant and added it to his domain; he extended the cottage and used it to accommodate his dairy workers. Later the Governor’s Domain became the people’s park of Parramatta.
