Children Collide’s free gig for Jager
They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but when it comes to gigs, some of the best bands are getting up there for nix.
This can certainly be said for the Jager Uprising Christmas Party that will have hot up-and-coming indie rock outfit Children Collide headlining festivities. The band from Melbourne released their debut album The Long Now last year that spawned the single Social Currency. Members Johnny Mackay, Heath Crawley and Ryan Caesar have won over both the critics and the crowds as they’ve been touring with the likes of The Hoodoo Gurus and The Living End.
Now with the release of their new EP Farewell Rocketship, the success of the boys is only set to skyrocket further.
Jager has had a long tradition of supporting the Australian live music scene and has had its eye on the best up-and-comers worthy of a little exposure.
You’re invited to celebrate Christmas, Jager style with Children Collide on Wednesday, December 9 at The Annandale Hotel, corner of Parramatta Road and Nelson Street, Annandale at 6.30pm. The venue usually reaches capacity fairly quickly so be sure to rock up in good time.
