Entry is on the day. Athletes have upto 15 minutes prior to their events scheduled start time to enter.

VENUE:

Upjohn Park, Kirby Street, Rydalmere.

Next to what was Upjohn Pharmaceuticals (on the old maps), now signed Australian Discount Retailers.

COURSE:

The course is 2.5km long and consists of long slopes and inclines through the tree lined park. Starting and finishing at Nolan Oval (near the carpark and tent area), the run crosses a small creek after about 200m then climbs for approx another 200m. The course then loops back towards the creek and then swings back at the 500m mark and heads towards a second creek and goes towards the Silverwater Road Overpass (east). Before the turn, near the overpass you pass the 1km mark (climbs from the 750m point), the course then heads towards the second creek (north), at the end of this section the course then does a short loop before heading to the finish. The course then follows the Western side of the park for about 400m then over a short footbridge (over the 1st creek) then climbs back to the Finish.

12:00pm FUN RUN : Male and Female 2.5km

12:30pm U12 : Male and Female 1.5km

12:50pm U14 : Male and Female 2.5km

1:20pm U16 : Male and Female, U18 Female 2.5km

1:45pm Open: Female, 35+ to 65+: Female, 55+, 65+: Male 5km

2:30pm Open: Male, 35+,45+: Male 7.5km

3:30pm U18: Male, U20: Male and Female 5km

Medal presentation will occur progressively during the afternoon from 12:50pm, medal presentation times are only a guide.

HOW TO GET THERE:

From Parramatta – Travel along Victoria Road, turn left into Kirby Street (after Park Road)

From Ryde – Follow Victoria Road, pass Ermington Shopping Centre, under Silverwater Road Overpass, then turn right into Kirby Street (there are no traffic lights at this point)

From SOPAC – Use Silverwater Road, towards Victoria Road Ermington, after you pass over Parramatta River, keep to your left and exit on to Victoria Road towards Parramatta, then right into Kirby Street

PARKING:

Main Carpark will be reserved for officials, the competitor and spectator carpark is at the rear of the main carpark and has approximately 100 spaces (special event use for the public to use).

There is street parking in the side streets off Kirby Street.

FACILITIES:

Canteen is available with hot and cold drinks.

Toilets, picnic area and children’s play area close to the start/finish area.

There are no showers.
